Connie Hedley, Business Administrator


Connie has more than 30 years of business administration experience.  Her formal training began in 1975 with her educational focus in accounting at the School of Commerce in Lincoln, Nebraska.   Over the next several years she gained practical experience in the business world in several pertinent venues including the property and casualty insurance field, preparation of state and federal income tax returns with an accounting firm, and as a licensed realestate agent in the state of Wyoming. 

Since joining HWA in 1989 Connie’s roles have included administration of finances, taxes, payroll, bookkeeping; project scheduling and budget monitoring; somecartography; technical report and map editing; and a wide variety of other business management responsibilities.  Connie and her colleague Jeff Winstead purchased HWA in 2006, and since then HWA hascontinued a steady growth and has expanded its role in both regulatory complianceand field-based research.  Along with juggling the many aspects of the consulting business, Connie assists her husband Frank in the world of smoked BBQ catering and competition; while free time is focused on spending time in the outdoors with her grandsons.
